About the Artist: Chetan is a young artist born in 1989 (India) and has completed Bachelor’ in fine art in the private institute of art, Surat, 2009. His painting style ranges from semi-abstract to expressionism. He has participated in many exhibitions through India’s largest cities including Mumbai. He has also exhibited his expressionist works in California (USA), Camas art Gallery in the UK, and International Artist Center from New Zealand.
As for his technique, Katigar uses bold, sweeping brushstrokes while painting and restricted his palette to seven vibrant and earthy colours – Indian red, yellow ochre, cadmium green, vermillion, grey, blue and white.
