Shipping Policy

Works may be reserved by selecting the piece you wish to acquire and following the instructions on screen, or by speaking with a private client advisor. You may review your order and correct any error up until submission. After an order is completed, you receive a confirmation email with the confirmation number.

India based shipping

Fine art

Orders are delivered Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm. We offer free shipping for most works within India. Most works are fulfilled directly by independent artists, brands and galleries, so if you acquire from more than one seller the pieces may arrive in separate packaging and on different dates.

Actual shipping time is between 2 and 10 days depending on the delivery location. After a purchase is made you are kept informed of the expected delivery date. Your order may take longer to reach you depending on location, but shipping charges remain free.

Most artwork is shipped in a rolled case that ensures optimum safety. Where rolling is not possible, we ensure the seller crates the work properly. Deliveries are made by selected leading courier firms, mostly Bluedart or DTDC for domestic shipments. All shipments are insured and the cost is included in the price.

Art authenticity

All artwork offered for sale by sellers on the site is supported by an authenticity certificate from the seller. The Connoisseur does not itself issue an authenticity certificate or guarantee. Sellers and artists are bound to deliver that authenticity certificate to the buyer along with the artwork.

International shipping

For international delivery, please contact us with the name of the work you are interested in and your country. Your advisor will confirm crating, insurance, freight cost and estimated transit time before any commitment is made. Customs duties and import taxes, where applicable, are payable by the recipient.

Larger and fragile works

Sculpture, heavily framed pieces and oversized canvases are crated individually and may require an extended handling window. Where white-glove delivery or installation is appropriate, your advisor will arrange it in advance.
